Uroš Cvetko

Uroš Cvetko

Uroš joined Valicon in 2004 as executive manager and key client consultant.

He graduated in economics and management at Oxford. After finishing his studies he took on a role of business analyst with Sava Tires, and later continued his career as head of general accounting at Goodyear. In 2001 he moved to McKinsey&Co., first as business analyst in Prague and later as consultant at the Zagreb office of McKinsey&Co.

In 2004 he returned to Slovenia and took over leadership of the Valicon company. He carried out an operative reorganization and helped developed consulting activities. In 2007 he became a partner in the company.

Uroš is a specialist in organisation and marketing and a regular guest of local and international marketing conferences.


Krešimir Žnidar

Krešimir is the founder of the Croatian branch of the company and head of Valicon’s Zagreb office.

He graduated from the Faculty of Psychology, University of Zagreb. After finishing his studies he started working at Cema, where he first became project leader and eventually research manager. In 1998 he moved to the research company GFK, where he also worked as research manager. In 2000 he founded his own research company, Prizma Istraživanja (a forerunner of the Valicon company).

Krešimir primarily deals with research methodologies, product development, FMCG, corporate reputation and research in the fields of telecommunications and IT.

He is a regular guest of international marketing research events. Occasionally he lectures at the Faculties of Economics and Philosophy at the University of Zagreb, as well as at marketing research classes. He is a member of ESOMAR, HOZ and SCIP.


Zenel Batagelj

Zenel is one of the founders and president of the company. Primarily he works in developing new products and consulting for key clients. Recently he has begun focusing on brand architecture, positioning and brand portfolio design as well as brand consulting.

He graduated in Social Informatics  the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. Still a student, he considered founding his own company. In 1996, he co-founded the Cati company (a forerunner of Valicon).

Zenel is the author of the www.SI Monitor research (the first Slovenian web ratings research) and co-author of the National Readership Survey model. He is also the author of the PGM (Product Group Manager) research study, the largest marketing research project in the area of the former Yugoslavia.

He is an active member of the Marketing Association of Slovenia and a regular speaker at all major marketing events in the region and the world (ESOMAR, AAPOR, ISI, ASA).


Andraž Zorko

Andraž is one of the founders of the company, he is responsible for media research and consulting in the fields of media and communication strategies.

He began his career as media planner and copywriter at Elea advertising agency. In 1995 he took on a role at Studio Dotični, where he became head of strategic planning. He started working with Valicon in 1999 as head of media and communication research and consulting.

Andraž is the co-author of the Slovenian National Readership Survey model. For it he was awarded a special recognition from the audience at the Worldwide Readership Research Symposium. With individual lectures he regularly cooperates with the University of Ljubljana and also lectures at many other media and communication events in the region and further afield: ESOMAR, WAM, EMRO, WRRS, SOF.

Andraž is a member of the programme committee of the WRRS and the Golden Drum festival, as well as an active member of the Marketing Association of Slovenia.


Miha Vogelnik

Miha is one of the founders of the company and has worked at Valicon since its inception.

He is an expert in data mining and client relationship management, as well as Valicon’s chief database expert. He is also chief representative for SPSS in the former Yugoslavia.

Besides data bases, he also has editorial experience, as he worked as assistant editor at Euricom magazine for 8 years.

Miha is the author of the STSD qualitative method (group dynamics simulation technique) and the author of numerous professional and general interest articles on marketing, research and data analysis. He is also a regular participant and speaker at numerous local and international conferences (INFOS, Slovenian Marketing Conference, PRIME, International Conference of Applied Statistics).
