    Methodology

    GemiusTraffic is the most popular web site research (conducted online) in Central and Eastern Europe at the moment.

    Data in Gemius Traffic is gathered by JavaScript codes which track the traffic on your web pages. Each visit is tracked in GemiusTraffic platform. Registered views are the basis for calculating further statistics of usage.

    For identifying internet users, GemiusTraffic uses cookies. Unique key connected to each cookie is read at each page view. This means that views of a single user can be joined into one visit or a series of visits for a more robust analytic use.

    Based on this, GemiusTraffic calculates a range of metrics and indicators that ensure the feedback information on your web site use. GemiusTraffic enables a precise analysis of individual visits including click analysis per page for each user. Overall, the research gathers technical data as well (internet browser, operation system, screen resolution).

    Gathered information is saved in a Gemius database which is refreshed in real time. This enables instant access to data on your web site.
